Can someone please help tell me how to take the amnon template and edit it in dreamweaver and load it into buisness catalyst to use as my personal site. There are a ton of files and i cant wrap my head around how to load them all in at the same time. On muse i can set up multiple pages and link them together but its not enough so ive moved onto dreamweaver and the rest of adobes products i just cant figure out how to layout everything so i can see it and edite each page the way i want it and upload it. thank you !

January 15, 2013 at 10:16 pm #57492So is pretty simple. Download xampp or other apache server with php and install first the web server onto your computer.
Transfer then Ammon package (unzipped of course) in htdocs folder of your webserver. Then setup in dreamweaver a new site. Point it to your htdocs/ammon_html folder and the rest is just new site synchronization problem. After dreamweaver reads all your site pages, start webserver and type into your browser this:http://localhost/ammon_html and you’ll see your site working. The rest is only your work with dreamweaver.January 15, 2013 at 10:26 pm #57493what about loading it into my adobe business catalyst account? thats where my current muse website is now.
January 16, 2013 at 12:25 am #57497I never worked with, so I cannot tell you if is fine. And I see that you have not php scripting support.
You need PHP support. Or you have and I can see?January 16, 2013 at 12:28 am #57498we sent you a personal email. thanks for your quick responding. what do we need to do?
January 16, 2013 at 12:32 am #57499were kinda over our heads with how to edit all of these pages to have what we want up there and how to put them all together.Thought it would be more drag and drop then what it is in Dreamweaver. Need help i guess with everything….
January 16, 2013 at 12:48 am #57501Just as a curiosity, how many heads you are? Just joking, hope you don’t mind.
Now we’ll use the easy way, at time you have a FTP account, please unzip ammon_html and transfer it where should be your site root. Then enter into your business account and try to open Dreamweaver and for sure you’ll see all files as a “tree” somewhere in the right part. And then take file by file, starting with index.html and edit as you need.Is pretty simple. What I told you before, you can create and work using your computer, locally, installing a web server to can handle the PHP part (see php_include folder).January 16, 2013 at 1:18 am #57502we are two with a organization that is vastly reaching 250 across the country with no income. trying not to be a non profit but may not have a choice soon as i am the only one actually funding everything. tried editing the index file first last night but for the life of me i can figure out how to change things. the actual split mode dosent show the whole pic on the right side the way page is on the site until i hit live view then it goes back to blocky after live view is off
