We are getting a PHP error in the “Additional Information” tab on product pages (however, not all products!?!). The error we are getting is:
Warning: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, no array or string given in /home/elmmag14/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product/tabs/tabs.php on line 43
I have rolled back our plugins a week (before the last round of updates) and removed a couple of newer plugins that were installed over the same period. I have not yet updated these plugins again…I will await your advice before I do so.
We did change the order of the tabs with a code snippet, however, I restored the previous version of the functions.php file but it made no difference. I have since changed it back to the current version.
I have attached a screenshot of the error and also one of a product that is working OK.

I suggest you deactivate all of your plugins and test it to see if the issue still exists, if not, you will know that was caused by a plugin and then you start activate them one-by-one to know exactly which one caused the error.

I will give that a go and let you know how I get on.
Did you get into the site at all yesterday and make any changes? I only ask as I got on today and and main menu had changed, all the footer elements we had were gone and the “additional information” tab has now disappeared altogether!?!

From what i see in that error message, the problem is coming from the WooCommerce plugin.
So either the main Woo plugin is broken and will need to be deleted and re-uploaded, or another plugin that comes in conflict with WooCommerce.
Please follow my colleagues suggestion and disable all the plugins. Leave the main WooCommerce plugin active and see if this makes any difference

I deactivated all the plugins except for Woocommerce, however, the error remained. This obviously means that Woocommerce is the issue. Does deleting and reinstalling Woocommerce lose all the settings and data (products etc.)? Is there a perferred process to do this?
Alternatively is this a problem a developer could fix with code?

It may be possible that the WooCommmerce plugin wasn’t installed properly. A reinstall should fix the problem in this case ( you won’t lose anything if you delete and reinstall WooCommerce )
