Hi, I’m working on a large site, I was very near to finish it.
Just 1 hour ago, I’ve found it not working,
I have lost all page builder data and kallyas settings, an empty resetted site.
Can somebody help me before my jump out the window?January 12, 2017 at 12:46 am #271514
This seems strange.
Would you mind providing me with login credentials so I can take a closer look? Please reply with following info:
– Link to your website
– WordPress Admin username / password

I can tell you exactly what happend, if you aren’t the only one who owns the access, maybe someone by mistake did some changes.
You should backup your website at least one per weekend to be safe.
Also It seems that you have a outdated version, 4.2 the latest one is 4.8 try to update and see if works.

Nobody else is working on this site.
The only thing happened is the automatic server update of wordpress.
Now I’ll try to update kallyas.January 12, 2017 at 1:53 am #271530
Nothing changed with theme update.
I can see page content in wp_postmeta but page builder is not activated on pages, and if I try to edit one it opens a black page.
Other pages with normal content are working.
Kallyas has resetted all its options and pages.
Please suggest me a way to awake from this nightmare.January 12, 2017 at 12:10 pm #271554

Will need FTP details in order to perform debugging on your website and see where this is coming from
Thank youJanuary 12, 2017 at 8:01 pm #271642
Thank you a lot for your support. The provider has sent me a backup of yesterday and now the site works.
The problem should be connected to encoding characters, some db fields has been converted to Latin-1 .
This happened probably during automatic wordpress update.
Don’t know why, perhaps I was working on the site during the automated update and something is gone wrong.
Can’t understand if it was a kallyas problem, a wordpress problem or a system one, first time in many years of web designing.January 13, 2017 at 12:31 pm #271707
