Thank you so much Rbrown74!May 24, 2016 at 7:36 am in reply to: Twitter Widget still not working after updating (fix) #243876
Hi, I also have same problem. Just uploaded fix file and cannt see any change. What did you do to resolve this?
maybe there is some extension, K2 or another for the front end? I really want to have editors and publishers for the front end to be able add articles. The biggest thing that missing is ability to indicate category and language.
Content and metadata sections are fine. Only publishing and language sections have issues.
I made new module for one category articles. But there in front of each article title was bullet point. To get them away I wrote those lines
in custom.css . Thank you for good advice on code writing.
I tested default joomla theme and yes this is joomla bug. I am sorry I thought problem is in your template.
Maybe you can suggest article archive module override for your template?
The problem is only with archive module. Only when article gets in archive Read more button gets lost. My archive module is called Rakstu arhīvs. Try Decembris, 2015. Article name: 2015. gada pēdējais datorkurss.
Try to put in archive your test article.
Hi, Let me show you first this issue in original Ammon template (was downloaded 23rd of January). If you have not made any upgrades since then it still must be there. Menu – Features – Blog. Archive module with 4 entries. Pick any of them, for example, May,2014. You get article “Convallis suscipit purus senectus (2)”. You do not see “Read more” button. The last sentence is “Sed eu ipsum quis nunc aliquam vestibulum.” If you click on article title it will open 2 more paragraps after this last sentence. If you inspect article in Article manager and look for source code you will see
<hr id=”system-readmore” />
which appears to be correct line for “Read more” button. The same issue is with all other articles in Archive module and sicne it there in original template I have same: http://www.miezitis.id.lv/index.php/jaunumi/2015?view=archive&month=12 No “Read more” buttons for archived articles. But for first article “2015. gada pēdējais datorkurss” there are 2 more pictures and text. Of course, article will open fully if you click on title but without “Read more” button people will not know that there is more to read.
Yes, I did it in editor!
I believe the problem is with Archived article module. See your original template. Same problem there.
If someone have similar situation – I found that this problem exist only when site is locked. When you unlock your site slideshow and google maps work fine
Slideshow also does not work on mobile devices. Also Google maps module on Contact page does not display map on same computers and mobile devices.
