I wanna use WooCommerce Products Search Plugin in my webstore to improve the search bar, with this plugin I can in theory search by the tags and others criteria. But I don’t know how to apply in Kallyas Theme, is there possible? In my understand i have to change the header search bar for the bar on plugin or maybe use the shortcode to activeted that. The plugin also has a widget, maybe we can use that, but I don’t know.
Link for the plugin: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-product-search/January 16, 2017 at 3:47 pm #272016hookroParticipantPost count: 1429
The theme is using the searchform.php file. You can modify the search form with anything you want, but you should modify in the child theme.

Lets see if you can’t do this without that plugin.
Go to Kallyas Options > WooCommerce Options > General Options > Search Type – General site search form. Here select the WooCommerce option.January 18, 2017 at 2:33 pm #272471
Well I change this option but now I find another problem. When I searchs a word, the page refresh, the url change to search criteria but any page of result appears, just refresh the homepage.
Plus, the trick of this plugin is let me search products by tag, for example I have the product called “Batman” and I put “Robin” as a tag of this product, if my user try to search by Robin the Batman product will show up, This option that you ask to me change made that? And there is a a function that made a previous search while the user write, showing suggestions, like Google suggestions.
There is some function that you recommend to integrated well with Kallyas Theme?January 18, 2017 at 3:23 pm #272484CosminParticipantPost count: 17572
Activate / install your child theme by going to Kallyas Options / Dashboard / Theme addons > Child theme (http://take.ms/aIlUa)
After this go to your FTP client, wp-content/themes/kallyas and find searchform.php. Copy this file in wp-content/themes/kallyas-child.
Once you have this php file in the child-theme, you can override it. So as i saw in the documentation of that plugin you will need to add the function they provide in the searchform.php http://take.ms/QbJux
Please be aware that we do not offer support for third party plugins / customizations. We can only help in cases where you a issue or bug that is theme related.
My suggestion would be to contact the authors of that plugins and ask for a step by step guide on how to activate the functionality

Hello Hogash Team,
I gave up to implement this plugin and for some reason my search bar do not work, I really don’t know what happened to my search bar. When I tryed search with WooCommerce products setting on “Search Type” just refresh my page. If I change the setting and put Default WordPress result works well.
What I can do? Thank you a lot!
