Hello Hogash technical support team,
Could please someone help me to fix the SQL error 1064 that it’s shown when using the Search bar from my website. My clients and I are unable to use it.
1. Go to website: http://sanabox.co/index.php/fi/
2. Click on the search bar -> type any word, e.g. Price
3. Press the search button
Current results: The below SQL error is shown:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘AND published=1’ at line 1 SQL=SELECT id FROM lmki4_k2_tags WHERE LOWER(name) LIKE AND published=1
NOTE: The search bar has the tagHAKU…
If it’s needed I can provide my account details to Hogash’s technical support team.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

This is not an issue from our theme. Is an issue from joomla plugin (maybe) . From your error i thing is from K2 tag.
try to modify HAKU in haku.October 5, 2015 at 6:33 am #213879
I tried removing the box text of the search bar but that didn’t work.
In addition, I have noticed that the error is happening when searching words with 3 or more characters, as a matters of facts the error is not shown when I search a word or 1 or 2 characters, e.g. “Pr”.
I have tried to fix this error but all my attempts have been unsuccessful.
Could you please help me Lonut, I would really appreciate your help.

You were right, the problem is not in the template, the problem is with the plugin: K2.
I have found the solution to issue in this forum: http://www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2-en/39005-mysql-error-on-use-joomla-search-module#135949. After following Lefteris’s steps my problem was resolved.
Thanks for all the help.
